1979 - Shri Gannath Stores (SGS) made their first presence in Delhi in the form of a full-fledged embroidery store. SGS catered to the requirements of embroidery units by supplying a variety of embroidery thread and related supplies We came out with our own logo and created our unique identity known at a time when concepts of branding and identity forming when relatively unknown in the Indian market.
1981 - We SGS Innovations were quick to identify the requirement for diversification and focused efforts in the products area of the sector. This motivated us to expand into manufacturing of embroidery yarns and establish our own production unit under the branch name SGS Innovations, which gained instant recognition in the industry.
1987 - SGS Innovations was noticed and appreciated by the international industry for its quality and recognized as a prominent embroidery solutions provider. We also received and successfully executed our first international order.
1993 - Inspired by the success of the branch, another branch of SGS was started in Vadodara (Baroda) which has long been regarded as the cultural capital of Gujarat, India. In, fact the success of SGS Innovations in Vadodara led to growth of a widespread embroidery industry in the area.
1995 - We opened a new full-fledged embroidery shop in Gujarat.
1996 - For the first time in the embroidery industry, SGS Innovations launched four color printed duplex boxes
2001 - We came out with a new logo and packaging style as a means to re-positioning in the embroidery industry and establish ourselves as leading corporate persona. The logo is the true reflection of the of the green environment policy and business philosophy of the company. We also introduced special packing called Y-cones which has set new standards of packing technology in the industry.
2002-2005 - We have been able to position ourselves as a renowned and well-established name in the Computerized Embroidery industry. SGS Innovations has been one of the key forces behind the revolution and developments in the industry in western India. Our growth plans include expanding to all across the nation and build an exclusive platform that integrates various players in the industry such as Fashion Designers, Designing Institutes, Embroidery and Garment Manufacturers and others who are associated with Embroidery.
